DubTurbo is a relative newcomer to the beat making / music production scene since being introduced earlier this year, but in that short time, DUB Turbo has been getting RAVE Reviews due to its Stand Alone interface and ease of use…

  I have had dubturbo for a few weeks now and after traveling to national championships for marching band i plan on using it for dubstep production. the ease of use and the many factory preloaded sounds are awesome and the ability to import sounds as a dubstep artist is crucial to me. the only downside is the program freezes after importing a sound bigger than say 200 kb and i was wondering if there was a way to remedy that. overall this program is amazing for producing sick beats and many other things you might want to use it for. if anyone has any answers to my importation problem please leave a comment and i will appreciate it greatly!

DubTurbo for the MAC SUCKS. I think the PC version is better.

was kinda discouraged about the fact that all it is, is a loop maker and you need another program to do a complete song. They need to make it to where you can do a complete song all in dub turbo.

  You can do a complete song with Dub Turbo. Goodluck loading a saved file if its over 32 bars or exporting a full song.Dub Turbo will freeze on big saved files, I have yet to get it to export a complete song. Try it at your own risk

This is the only site i’ve found where im not convincd that every other review i’ve read was written by DUBTurbo themselves, i’ve been spammed on soundcloud now by a guy pretending to be L.A.Reid recommending dubturbo. don’t believe the hype.

  This! I have looked at 6 or 7 sites that ‘review’ the product but, none have even 1 bad thing to say because they are all selling it… Also, there is no trial or demo version available which to me is a BIG sign that this is a piece of crap.

dubturbo PAYS YOU if you get people to BUY the product from your page. thats why it says “What this means is we will get a COMMISSION from dub turbo .com if you click through to their site by means of our hyperlink and end up buying.”other review sites try to hide that and make up some AWESOME “review” to get you to buy the product, which is probably very low quality. id rather torrent FL studio.it seems like dubturubo is just a marketing exercise.

Im a beginner and was really looking forward to using this program to start but I cant go anywhere with it when it freezes on me every 5 minutes. Very frustrating. Anyone have any tips?

I bought DubTurbo a couple weeks back. Dubturbo is very useful and is well worth the price, however there are various limitations that come with the package. Most reviews you will read about dubturbo have no negative feedback, although there is plenty to be found after downloading the product itself.

Pros:
-CHEAP
-Good sounds and alot to choose from
-Beginner Friendly
-Wav. files instead of Mp3 (there is a difference)

Cons:
-You cant import recordings, sound files, etc. without knowledge on how to do so
-buggy
-each editable block must be 4 beats, no more no less
-If you stop playing your track and wish to resume it, you must start from the beginning
-slow at times
-Notes overlap (cant edit length)

Overall i would give DT a 6/10, or a 7/10 if used with another program like garageband.
